12 Days of Christmas Event at Ooh-la-la Vintage Treasures Christmas Tree...

12 Days of Christmas Event at Ooh-la-la Vintage Treasures

How to fold the tree

You will need 6 squares to make this tree.
The size's are
 1# 6 1/2 X 6 1/2.   2# 6X6 .    3# 5 1/2 X 5 1/2.
4# 5 X 5.     5# 4 1/2 X 4 1/2.  and   #6 is 4X4.
You can also make a smaller on for cards or even a
ornament be creative with it just change your size as
long as you do half increments.
 Fold in half.
Now flip and fold in half again to crate a crease.
Now fold your paper corner to corner and emboss

Now it gets a bit tricky fold it back in half and tuck in the sides.
this will look like a point . now fold in both sides to the center.
This is your tree.

Here I cut out strips of scrapbooking paper that looks like wood and embossed it with my Tim Holtz Embosing folder that gives the look of wood grain.
Here I distress the edges with Walnut stain.

The star

The star was a paper mache one i rubbed Inka-gold in Platinum to give it a silver look. Than I used Distress crackle paint Rock candy to make it look cracked. I did have to trim off the back so it would lay flat.

This is a close up of the top of my picture.

This is the Final results.
