Altered Train Traveling Case...

This is a Altered Traveling case I made for a fellow crafter.

 

I stared out by painting the entire case with Gesso .

Than I mod podge it with Prima "Printery collection "

the sheet is called Signature.

 



I washed over it with Tim Holtz distress stain

"walnut" than to lighten it up I used some watered

down gesso all over it.

 



I like how it gave it a Antique look.

I added trim and embellishments.

 



 The inside was a bit challenging .

I glue down some material I had on hand to hide the hideous

color navy blue.  I took strips of muslin that i distressed and

made a ruffled it by using hot glue on my  matt and laying

the strip of muslin on it using a pinching technique to make it ruffled.

I made this easel card to enter in the I am roses contest.

 

 

The Image is from Michaels.

 

The 2 flowers you see are the r21 white flower.

I love to use them in my projects because I can color them to match whatever

 I am working on to match.

Mixed Media

I have been busy playing with paint and stuff and wanted to share with you what I did,  I was watching Limor on U stream she has a group on Face book called Limor1278 mixed media art group.  I really enjoy seeing all the talent there.  any way here's what I made,,,,enjoy....;]

Mixed Media Art...

I was playing with my sprays on water color paper and love the way it turned out.

I stamped a city along the bottom and masked the center one,

 so I could stamp the

G 45 stamp of the ladys.

I used a Tim Holts stamp for the quote

 ( experience is not what happens to you.

 its what you do with what happens to you).

splatered some paint and stamped some more.

I matted it with cardstock .

Hello my followers I have been busy with A new Job and was sick for a while.

I am sorry you haven't seen any thing from me in a month.

I am back and started to get my energy back and a regular routine at work now.

Soooo.. hears a little Sunshine ...lol

 I used the 6 x6 paper pad by Simple Stories the Summer Fresh .

the image is a Magnolia girl picking flowers.  I used my Spectrum Noir
Makers to color her.

I keep the inside simple.

Pro 31 Designs DT Swap...

Hello Fellow Crafters.

Here I am going to show you this Beautiful Mini I created for a fellow design team member,

 ( Julie Walters )  The mini is from Myteddyboo Blog {The Balcony Collection }

I love this mini so much that I had to do it up to the top..he he

The cover.

I used Prima Almanac.  The Image is from Littlemissmuffet

I colored her with FS2, FS3, PP1, and IG1.

The flowers are WC sweetheart blossom and some I had in my stash. 

 The cream colored trim thats organza and saten is

 Pro 31 designs.

Tim Holtz Mini dress form die. 

The white satin and organza trim and flat flowers are Pro 31 designs.

I made her a easel card it measured 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.

The Flowers all but the center one is Pro 31 designs.

the flat black flower trim is also Pro 31 designs.
