I am so excited to share with you some fun projects I made for Christmas decorating .

This rosette is 5x5 in size. I made them into ornaments.

Love the poinsettia flower die by Tim Holtz.

This card is 6x6 .

they measure 5 1/2 across.

I am loving the mixed media way of altering a canvas.

This is a 10 x10 canvas I painted with blue because I knew I was going to use my grandbaby's picture.  I just pulled out some stencils and stamps and had fun with it.

Page 1 & 2 of my new 6 x8 Dylusions Mixed Media Book.

I used all kinds of technics for these pages.

started out gluing scraps of paper than spraying dylusions sprays onto several stencils.

once I had a cool college of colors I decided to use the lady stencil to different ways. One negative the other positive.  I used a baby wipe to wash away the black on a stencil to create the bees.  than on the other side I used black paint.

 

 

 

 

 

I really enjoyed using the Dylusions Art Journal.  The paper holds up to a lot od layers.

I loved playing with this paper line. 

 

 

I used some femra I had from a stamp image swap

I used to be in. thought that shoe was perfect.

 

I loved putting together this cluster of flowers some which I colored with the new lindys stamp sprays by Limor ( LOVE it )

Paper Mache Stackable Boxs

 

I had so much making this for a fellow crafter.

I had seen several done on You Tube and loved how they looked.

 

 

The frame on top of the biggest box is hidden under the medium sized box.

I turned it upside down so it would fit on top. tee hee

 

 

The paper line I used was a Prima line designed by Marion Smith.

 

 

I did some molding paste with the stencil by prima that looks like cracked glass.

 

This is the card I made for her using the same paper line.

trims and flowers and a handmade stick pin.

September has been so busy...

First off I would like to say YEAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  I am going to be a grandma.  My baby boy is going to have a baby boy of his own.

I took some time to work on things for my soon to be born grandson.

I made a 12 x 12 scrapbook album full of pages for my Daughter-in-law to fill with photos of my grandson Luke. They already gave him his name Luke James.  I love it, my son's middle name is James.  The wooden cradle you see in the pic was made for my son when he was born.  I keep it and also used it for my daughter.  I left it in Indiana when I moved to Texas because my children were still in Indiana. When I arrived in Indiana my mom had it cleaned up and ready for me to delivery it  to my son for his new baby boy.

The trip was a long one but I made it. This is Chicago.

I had to walk 3 blocks to catch the south shore train to miller where my Son picked me up.

Planes, Trains, and Automobiles...lol

 

 

 I had to share this I had seen this before on my travels and I know not a lot of people get to travel like I do. This is a plastic covered seat you wave your hand over it and it goes around and has a clean seat for your bum..lol

I used my Gelli plate to start my page with paints and punch outs.

 I filled it in with my gelato's and neocolor water color crayons.  I added some prima canvas pieces

and colored them with my gelato's.
