Drawing in my Art Journal.

This is a model in a magazine I used to draw my image. 

 I used to love to draw when I was a little girl

and decided it was time to play with it once more.

 

 

I colored her with a mix of mediums from markers to colored

pencils.

 

 

so far I think she turn out cute.

I do enjoy drawing.

I made this cute vellum envelope card

I used a georguss girl stamped image.

the paper is from a DCVW paper stack I pick up at Michaels

The create collection.

 

This cute muslin bag was embellished first with my

gelli plate using my stencils and acrylics.

I added one of my handmade burlap flowers and some trim.

ATC's

I love making ATC's they are so much fun.

 

 

This one is with a napkin and scraps.

 

 

I glue my scraps of paper to a 3.5 x 2.5 piece of paper and set it aside

 until I'm ready to embellish it.

Its a great way to use up scraps.

New pages in my "mini" Mixed media book.

I am sharing some pages I have done so far this year in my Mini Mixed Media book. ( 6x5 )

I love it because its not a huge area to work on . 

 

This one I used watercolor pencils and a wet brush.

and some stenciling.

 

 

This is where I added paper and texture.

 

I had fun with this one . I used Seven Gypsy's collage paper and a image I had laying on my desk.

Art journaling for me has no rhyme or reason I just start and let it tell me what it wants when I get there.

Storage Box that I made.

I made this cute 14 x 8 file folder box to hold my extra die cuts.

 

 

 

I used the paper line to decorate it.

that cream color flower is one I made with the

Hobby Lobby trim I did a video on my You Tube channel.

I also used that cute petaloo flower and another handmade flower with ric rac trim.

 

This is a side view to show I used left over envelopes.

Mixed Media Tag..

 

Hello and Welcome to my Scrap Room...

 

 

I stopped By one of my LSS ( local Scrapbooking Store)

and found they had some new goodies to play with from CHA.

This is called Kroma crackle.

I just love this stuff.  Its almost like the crackle medium by Plaid. BUT..

It turns into a paintable piece to work on.  It is already crackled when you paint over it.

Recycled Alarm clock.

I know Tim Holtzs has his new clocks now, but before they came out

 I had this clock my friend had gifted me.

I used G45 paper Lady's Diary paper. 

The texture on the clock was from mixing sand from Michaels and Elmer's glue. 

to add color I used Tattered Angles Sprays. ( rose chalk and coffee)



The lace was from my stash.

I white washed it with gesso to give it a

old look.



I just love how it turned out. 

I wish I had taken a picture of it before.

Mixed Media Canvas.

I just love this canvas I made for my daughter and her boyfriend.

I am sure you have seen this technique used but I had to give it a try myself and think I might have to do it some more.. tee hee

I used tattered angels sprays to give it some color.

All the embellishment's are a mixture of game pieces to

lace and charms.

This is the before covered with spray Gesso.

My Mermaid and Sea Horse Stamp.

I thought I would share this page I did for my

Mixed Media book.  This stamp is just darling.

 

" A life without dreams would be just a life"

I used paints and bubble wrap for texture.

There's also some bling and tule.

I joined a swap where we had to alter a 

paint brush and just love how 

it turned out.

Recycled Gum Ball machine.

I bought these cute Gum Ball Machines at the 99 cent store and

had to embellish them to hold some of my beads.

Altered Cloths Pin.
